Software Engineering - Data Analysis & Reporting at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (Bengaluru, India)

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* In touch with industry wide technology trends and best practices

* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

Skills Must Have:

- Good knowledge on databases, any Query Language like PL/SQL, Domain specific Language(DSL) and in data modeling - Must have skill

- Exposure in programming Languages preferably Core Java (You may check for exposure in alternate programming language/s but Java will be preferred)

- Understands SDLC, the importance of Regression Testing , Code Coverage & Automation aspects

- Willing to adapt and learn new tools and technologies

Good to Have:

- Exposure to Big data technologies and Hadoop ecosystem (Note: we don't need hard core Big data guy but candidate with some exposure and ability to debug/navigate thru issues in Big data cluster will be preferred)

- Exposure to Analytical tools like At-scale, Dremio

- Knowledge on Cloud AWS and Kubernetes

- Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, Python and Scala

- Exposure to Financial industry/Regulatory reporting domain will be preferable

Key Responsibilities include:

- Setup and leverage models & entities in data lake environment

- Setup end to end data pipeline that includes sourcing data, writing logic for ingestion, enrichment and business reporting

- Integrate data pipeline with analytical and reporting tools

- Ability to create tools for automation, business logic generation, testing and data reconciliation

- Data analysis, Performance tuning and issue investigation

- Engage end users to understand business requirements for new/existing functionality

- Participate in design discussion and code reviews
