We are looking for a passionate software DevOps engineer who has strong hands-on skills in Linux based build automation, CI/CD, and DevOps tools. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. The candidate will be part of a Global Software Engineering team. The candidate will work closely with development and validation teams to improve the quality of workflows around build, test, and release cycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or related engineering fields
- Minimum 5 years of related field experience and hands-on experience on end-to-end build automation setup for Linux
- Proven experience to prototype and deploy CI/CD end-to-end solutions, including build, test, packaging, release automation.
- Strong experience/knowledge of build management tools such as GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
- Solid hands-on experience with Python scripting on Linux
- Strong debugging and root causing skills on build compilation issues
- Good interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Linux device drivers is a plus
- Exposure to virtualization technologies and cloud Infrastructure will be added advantage
