Roles and responsibilities
Design and develop automated solutions for the test phases, selecting the right strategy and tools
Design, automate and report for all test phases that are part of Software test lifecycle (STLC) such as Continuous Integration, Regression, Functional, and Production parallel and Non-functional.
Schedule and Execute regression cycles daily
Understand operational processes in order to provide solutions which improve operational efficiency
Skills
5+ years of relevant IT/quality assurance work experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience; demonstrated experience within the quality assurance / testing arena; demonstrated skills in quality assurance methods/processes and practices.
Extensive experience in Quality Assurance & Test Automation. Must have extensive experience of test automation/development activities in the past.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and hands on agile development methodologies.
Ability to understand and use efficient Defect management, regular view of test coverage to identify gaps and provide improvements
Experience in building and maintenance of test automation frameworks & solutions using Java or any other programming languages is a must.
Experience/Exposure on building tools using Java frameworks like spring and Hibernate.
Must have good knowledge of databases and nice to have operational knowledge in UNIX and sql queries.
